Greetings and thanks for your interest. Please note
that Arrow NewMedia was formerly PeopleSpace, so Press Releases and other materials may
refer to the old company name.
In many ways, the concept behind Arrow NewMedia's
interactive technologies is more Retro than New.
Over the centuries, people have been able to express
and share their opinions during shows and events.
The responses were immediate and part of a group
experience. Boos, hisses, laughter, applause and
whistles let viewers give direct feedback... and
also share their views with the rest in the audience
(and, also as important, with those on stage).
But with the advent of TV, viewers have become
isolated. They can still yell at the set or voice
an opinion, but it's usually a solitary activity.
Our Real-Time Rating Tool (RTRT) and other interactive
technology give the shared experience back to
the viewer. Now, they can register an opinion
about a show and see how everyone else feels or
thinks. They can interact in a number of ways
and again become part of a participating audience.
Plus this data can be invaluable to producers
and advertisers (just like it helped give feedback
to stage performers).
Write us at SalesForce@ArrowNewMedia.com
for our schedule of upcoming events.
We have already conducted a number of interactive
events since our launch last year. Our first use
of the RTRT was for the 2002 "Rate the State"
that let viewers continually register opinions
during Bush's State of the Union in January, 2002.
In February of 2002, we gave audiences a chance
to rate the ads during the Super Bowl game. Since
then we've run other events including evaluating
the stars and presenters at the Academy Awards
and "betting" on the winners of Survivor
("Who Will Survive Survivor"). Links
for some summary press releases and articles are
